elmer...wow, I don't know what to say...  Thank you so much for the compliments...it is this community here at KA that has held me up through so much and I'm so thankful to have yall, I really am, I would be lost without my KA family right now...

Hope all is going well for you, Michelle. So what's next for you? Have the doctors decided how to proceed? Hope they are all in agreement with each other...it's always hardest when there are differences of opinion among the professionals.
DX: Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psoriasis
Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week. Cimzia-restarted after 2 yrs away.
Epidural Steroid Injections x8; Lumbar Radiofreq Ablation x2
SIJ Steroid Injection x3; Bilateral Radiofreq Ablation SIJ x9

Thanks rumble... well right now, the main focus is keeping my weight up, my fever down and my body infection free...I've been fighting pyleonephritis for about a month, I'm on my third round of antibiotics for it and I've had a sore throat the last few days, but my fever is down, it had been staying at 101 during the day and 102 at night but it was down to 100 today and I've gained 4 pounds!!!  My surgery is scheduled for May 2nd and immediately following the esophagectomy and removal of the lymph nodes, I'll have a PET scan and we'll know a whole lot more then, so a little longer to wait on that but they are running lots of tests in the meantime...

Michele, don't think I've ever wished someone to gain weight but hope you can pack on the pounds!  Are you allowed to eat lots of ice cream?

Yanno....I have plenty of weight to share. I can come to see you and lay on a bed next to you in the hospital. They can suck the fat out of me and into you! That is a win/win situation!
All kidding aside, I hope that things work out well for you. You are in my prayers.

When you first started posting, I immediately gravitated to your picture. It show's a very happy person full of life and spirit and ready to conquer anything! Love that picture and your fighting spirit. It will get you through this. We all love and support you.

Are you allowed to eat lots of ice cream? Absolutely!!!  I'm an ice-cream addict anyway...now I have a legitimate excuse for hogging up all the Bluebelle!!!
