If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

A neighbor lent me a book entitled, "Eat Right for Your Type" by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo. Dr. D'Adamo states that each blood type group has evolved to eat a specific diet. According to the doctor, type O people should be on a Pelio/NSD type diet and type A people need to be on a vegetarian type diet. When I read the thread by Brianzajac about needing starch, I began to wonder if the NSD is right for my husband.
My husband has been on NSD for two years now and is continueing to lose weight and muscle mass. I am very concerned. He is a type A. NSD has eliminated his knee pain, but he rarely dips below a 4-5 on the pain scale for his back.
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this blood type diet? Any help would be much appreciated.

I think there is some truth to the Blood Type Diet. I have type AB, and I also have very low stomach acid, and it's hard for me to digest meat. So I limit my meat intake to: seafood once or twice a week, and grass feed beef once or twice a month. The rest of the time I eat lots of greens, nuts, seeds, fruits & veggies.
But there are many things about the Blood Type Diet that I don't agree with. Like type AB is supposed to tolerate dairy products really well, and I react horribly to dairy.
But there is other good advice for my blood type like smaller more frequent meals and paying attention to the "food combining" guidelins.
I personally like to pick and choose useful bits of info from so many different "diets" like the SCDiet, the NSDiet, the Paleo Diet, the RAW Food Diet, etc. Overall the current diet that I do eat which is a combination from the ones listed above (and absolutely LOVE) works so well for my body, that I am now pretty much pain free most of the time, just tiny little aches here and there on occasion from damage already done. But I no longer feel the diesase progressing, and I thrilled about that.

I'm now a KICK AS (and Kick IBD) success story!! After going low starch Paleo to heal my gut, I can now eat nearly all starches, grains & foods without inflammation, flare-ups, or pain. I used a modified SCD diet approach (minus dairy! plus cacao ♥). Cheers to healing & thriving again! I blog at http://www.forestandfauna.com/about/
