Joyce- you made me smile thinking about grandkids.
the pills I took for gout did absolutely no good.
So I am watching what I eat and working thorugh it..
water walking does seem to help..if I can stand it.

I've never been hunting and had I ever gone hunting my one or two misadventures with firing guns clearly indicate all things I shot at would be quite safe.
Thank you though for letting me take that little hunting lesson wiht you. I suspect you've taught far more thatn you learned and more than you relaized. thanks for the words, humor an dwisdom you share here for all these years.

Yes, I have tried to be helpful and to be an encourager. But you also know how much I have needed the tutelage from those who have a knowledge and a strength that I have not had. Even those who have disagreed with me, have done it with family in mind.
Your girls need to see Mount Rushmore..... 2 hrs. away.

Yes Lon, I am really tired of the snow  . :xsfFEET of snow and more tonight Can't get the RV out to head south  . This has been the worst winter in 10 years. The only things that keeps my sanity is watching the 200 deer and turkey in the field off our deck, they provide so much joy. Knowing they are fed and surviving during this harsh winter makes me feel like we are good stewarts and they in tern supply the entertainment. Our moto has always been "If you take from the herd, you give back to the herd". Cindy

As you know life is a journey, as we pick up things that are meaningful, we keep those thoughts where we can apply them to our life situation.
When I have needed help in the past, time and again I was lifted up.
The world didn't give it to me and the world can not take it away! ( peace & acceptance)

very nice. I could see them in the back field. Do you have a few named? those birds can be messy, any problems with them coming up on the deck?
