I had to get an MRI of my hips. It had to be sedation due to pain making me unable to stay in one position. I only screamed once while they were knocking me out smile

Laying flat or sitting upright are equally painful for me but now I have a clue as to why that might be.

Even though I've had imagings of my spine, they have never been all the way to my tailbone. My hip xrays were straight on instead of including a side view. But, with the new MRI that has been corrected and I found out that I don't have any softly curving areas of my spine at all (except my mild scoliosis).

My Coccyx is sitting at a hard 90 degrees. A clear right angle. While my sacrum and lower lumbar are flat and angled towards my belly button. No wonder sitting upright hurts, no wonder my bowls get tied up a bit, no wonder I lean forward.

What I am wondering is why there is no inclusion of the poor neglected coccyx in xrays or MRIs of the spine?
