If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Oops. Looks like I miss represented myself. The surgery would be to remove the calcified stylohyoid ligaments. The ligament is found behind your ear (sort of), and right now is acting like a sharp shard of glass that keeps poking me. NO WONDER THAT'S BEEN HURTING. Its a ligament that helps with swallowing - but I'm pretty sure there are some redundant ligaments there, and removing these should be 'OK' at the very least. My dentist never once mentioned having TMJ surgery. And dont worry, it's just something to think about, nothing I would jump into. Thanks for your concern. Jeanna MADE IN CANADA

Hey K: I'll try to answer all your questions. #1 - no, I wasnt fitted with a TENS unit. #2 - I dont know what is meant my myofascial pain. I just meant that my masseter (sp?) muscles are tight as a rock. But that's pretty much par for the course with me. When a joint gets inflamed, my muscles tighten up to protect it. Of course, it could be that there is an inflammation where ligaments and muscles insert along the bone. Who knows. #3 - the ligament issues have likely been there for a while, as has the TMJ. Tough little cookie that I am, I just never complained about it before. You would know if you had calcified ligaments if your dentist has done a panoramic xray. They look like jagged bones that stick down from your jaw. #4 - I clarified above, the surgery would be for the calcified ligaments, not the TMJ. Sorry. I'm also sorry about being out of time here. I will be in touch. Big ol hugs! Jeanna MADE IN CANADA

Veins are hanging in just fine. Dont feel phlebitis-y at all. I try to dilate everything well by being warm (therefore lots of layers of clothing). As well, from now on I think I'll hydrate myself REALLY well before I go. Thanks for your thoughts. Jeanna MADE IN CANADA

Oohhhhhhh. OK Well, I hope if you get anything done it's helpful BTW, myofascial pain is caused by the "fight or flight" reaction....muscle material is encased in tiny tubes, like wires are encased in rubber coating, and are bundled together in large amounts to create the actual muscles. The casing for each "wire" of muscle material contracts when the "fight or flight" reaction is activated, and when ths reaction is sustained for too long, the result is tight bands of very sore muscles. That's why FMS and Myofascial pain usually go together. Hope that's right Rox http://www.geocities.com/artisan1998.geo/index.html
