If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello, Arjan:
Thanks for your advice. I'll read post about FOS in this forum (remember some discussions about FOS, and have to read now) and test after. Onions and asparagus are much times presents here on salades. Maybe onion (and other FOS: tomato also?) are problem for me or perhaps the problem are onions (asparagus, tomato...) when cooked or processed.
Other problem with onion and garlic: they are FOS but bactericide also, in some level.
Always learning with kickers.

Pello,
even trace amounts of starch, less than 0.1%, give a reaction with the iodine test. You have to remember it is not quantitative. Perhaps you could try eating a raw one as an experiment?

Thanks, Bilko.
I'll experiment mushrooms again witthin some days. After November 1, am trying bee propolis because his antibiotic and gut healing attributes. And my "laboratory" must try one thing every time. The DragonSlayer's antibiotic strategy is always in my mind, but I didn't want the pharmacological antibiotics (not very well in the gut, problems with my chemist for have it...); if bee propolis works against Klebsiella and others bugs as well as Argentinian and Cuban doctors on apitherapy are saying, this may be another interesting approach. And you'll be informed about. But first, I prefer to try it myself.
Ah, following your advice, I had diminished the NSAID on 25%. Four days on 75 mg Indocine and quite well. Another 25% within a month? Could be smashing!

Hello, friends:
Yesterday I reiceved results of last blood tests: ESR 60 and CRP 30. You can read former numbers: - August 2001: ESR 83 - November 2001: ESR 57 - January 23: ESR 75, CRP 65 - April 05: ESR 74 - August 08: ESR 49, CRP 36 - October 18: ESR 42, CRP 19
I'm quite confused because: - Feeling better than october. - Walking better and more flexible (my wife is best jury, and she was telling "your improvement now is very clear"). - Diminished Indometacine from 100 to 50-75.
Some possible explanations: - Made blood test friday and saturday had one little flu... Could I have some little infeccion in test day? - I am having apitoxine terapy: 6-8 bee stings every day. Maybe apitoxine has influence on ESR and CRP? Doctor in apiterapy will be consulted and answer put here.
Finally: I continue on "NSD-minus-milk or Dr.Seignalet Diet-minus-starch", physic therapy (Mézières-Ripodas), still 50-75 Indometacine (trying to dimishe it) and apitoxine by bee stings.
Great hugs to all.

Hi Pello,
if you had an infection when the blood sample was taken then yes, this could cause the ESR to be elevated.
Now my charms are all o'ethrown, And what strength I have's mine own, Which is most faint.

Hey, people:
5 days ago left bee stings. After 1,5 months keeping sting (14 stings every two days) I wasnt't very convinced: I felt inflamed, ESR and CRP raised...
Always on NSD, started Azulfidine again, and feeling better every day. Supplements: C vit, B vit, calcium-magnesium-etc multimineral, oil capsules, garlic capsules. Also propolis (bee antibiotic) and pollen: one good natural supplement. I hesitated because his starch level, but now I'm seeing my body accept well his amount.
Bee stings? There is much information about his therapeutic values, but his effect stimulating our inmunitary system results confused to me. Maybe some month later I'll try again.
Hug to all you.

Hello, friends:
This morning received the outcomes of blood test. ESR 24 and C Reactive Protein 7. They are the best numbers after starting NSD, one year and 8 months ago. Previous controls were: - August 2001: ESR 83 - November 2001: ESR 57 - January: ESR 75, CRP 65 - April: ESR 74 - August: ESR 49, CRP 36 - October: ESR 42, CRP 19 - January 2003: ESR 60, CRP 30.
Nowadays, I'm on strict NSD (minus milk) and only Sulfasalazyne-EN. Without NSAIDs! I have some important explanations over that:
1.- Bee stings didn't work well for me. After leave them, I started feeling better. Maybe bee stings were the culprit of rise of ESR and CRP last autumn. I'll report it to my doctor on apitherapy.
2.- You know my recent history: arrest by spanish police (guardia civil), supposed intent of suicide, pneumonia, etc. I still haven't any official paper or information about that (I'm always expecting them) but I know that because pneumonia doctors brougth me big amounts of antibiotics. Don't know what antibiotics brougth me via serum (maybe one day spanish doctors will tell me, maybe...) but via oral I took "Augmentine", amoxycillin. In his fantastic book "Surviving the Autoimmunity Challenge, page 10, John Merchant says about antibiotics against AS: "Kp is a cause of bacterial pneumonia (bronchopneumonia) also. Responds well to Cipro brand ciprofloxacin, Levaquin brand levofloxacin (...) and less well to amoxycillin". In jail, reading this book, I arrived just untill these pages. And I remembered others testimonys about AS and antibiotics on Kickas.
I told about it to our family doctor and this morning she said me: "If you had some AS shoott, ty against with antibiotics" and gave me some prescriptions.
After peumonia, I'm still quite weak and very thin: 50 kilos for 1,67. I would like to gain 10 kilos, but I think will be difficult.
But the most important: I'm feelling well without NSAIDs (22 days yet!). Thanks to NSD... and you all, kicker friends.
Hey, John: I musted arrive to the hell for begin to raise?
Great hugs.

Hi Pello, Good to see you posting again and very good to see those numbers. Seems you are getting things under control and that without NSAID's WOW!! Good to see also the effect of the antibiotics, I think they caused this downfall, another proof for the antibiotics concept. Does this mean you have a prescription for antibiotics for in case you're AS gets worse again? That would be great. For gaining weight, or better, to get energy for running I use now coconut milk or cream which I dilute a bit with soy milk, very nutricious and anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Maybe you could find that in Spain, maybe not. Wish you all the best, Gerard

Hey Pello, great that you've survived those bees and of course the other Bees. If that is too difficult to understand, just say cultural or colloquial aussie problem. I'm glad we all try different treatments and report back as the numbers and effects help us all. Ted proAS_KickAS
