Hi George
I started the lsd nsd at the end of July 2001.I had a flare up in si joints which scared me. The pain and inability to do anything about it other than take drugs filled my mind with great doubts and anxiety, about my own, and my family's future. I found Kickas and found relief and deliverance from both the aforementioned plagues, the pain and anxiety that is, not my family. I started the diet with great zeal and in 3 days was able to throw down my mums walking stick and go about as normal. My health has continued to improve gradually and pains only impinge on my conciousness when i transgress from the path of vlsd/ nsd.I really appreciate the help that is to be found here at kickas and have logged on nearly every day since to this nsd forum.I have found great benefit from the inputs of John Dragonslayer and Bilko and the many others who contribute so intelligently to this place .I just would like to also add my appreciation of your efforts at the beginning of this site setting the ball rolling.I can function normally, work to provide for my family and enjoy quite good health, and an interesting diet, into the bargain all because of what i have learned here at Kickas.
Thank you Jonathan.
Ps I don't care what the medical experts say about Ebringer. His ideas have worked for me.

Hi George,
It is good to hear from you!
The weather here (in Illinios, USA) is making regular golf more difficult, but I am trying to play on the warm days. The diet is still very effective against my AS and I appreciate this site every time I play golf or excercise. This has been a regular part of my life for the past 2 years. Par is a goal now instead of just wanting to be able to walk the course. Thank you for the encourage ment and your efforts.
Ike

I read about the improvements that the diet made to your life and lifestyle, both from your posts and DragonSlayers posts.

I was wondering if you could tell us if you have been able to eliminate pain completely and whether you face no ankylosing (fusing) problems...i.e your short history with the problem..

I have just been diagnosed with a very very midl form of AS, and want to to kill it before it takes over my life and future. I am 27 yrs old.

Any comments, optimism and help from you willbe invauable to say the least.

Thanks

Nishant

Well I would'nt sayI had the problem for a short while. My early experience was at the age of 26 when I was experiencing what i believed was groin strains and thigh strains. I was given pain killers and told to rest. I eventually was referred to an orthopedic surgeon who was going to operte on my spine. Thank heaven that didnt happen. Then about 10 years later a doctor in Singapore diagnosed I had a disease called ankylosing spondilitis for which there was no cure and I should continue with the NSAID treatment that I was on. But I was in so much pain and starting to hunch over I was considering having to give up working. I eventually tracked Ebringer down about 13/14 years ago my ESR was 98. When he first told me I should go LSD of course I thought this is stupid Ive got a degenerative bone disease and this guy tells me its what i eat. However 3 days of eating nothing but bacon and eggs and I was feeling ok, which convinced me.
So I wouldnt say I have no fusion, but I am resonably flexible, well enough to play golf. I am still LSD or very LSD, but wish I had found Ebringer when I was 26. Incidently I am now 53. So you are in a great position at the age of 27. Good luck to you. George
