If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Folks, He doesn't post much but we have a true blue AS KICKER in stiffboy! For someone in as much pain and is as sick as he is, he stood tall in our presence. A real gentleman with our kind of humo ur! When Deanpaul asked if he got pneumonia in the hospital, he replied "no, I got it in my chest." And if anyone wants a model for an AS Kicker's mate, Eric's wife, Heather, has to be a top choice. Her love for Eric was felt by us all. All in all, it was the highlight of the week for me. Actually, I had many highlights...in fact the whole week was perfect...except for the huge BBQ grill Deanpaul and I wrestled with Saturdat night! One of my earliest childhood memories was visiting the Mormon Tabernacle. The tour ended with all of us in the back of the Tabernacle while a pin was dropped in the front....you could hear it in all it's clarity as though it was dropped into a glass right next to you. I never forgot the sound...in fact, I credit it for my love of good sounds even today. You can imagine the thrill I had to re-visit it 50 years later and hear, not the pin, but the world famous Morman Tabernacle Choir recording their weekly TV presentation. I cried throughout the whole preformance! It was...stunning! Another highlight in a special week:) Pete "In the game of life, nothing is less important than the score at half time." --Anon.

After visiting Temple Square and being awed by the beauty of man glorifying God, we visited a spot where Nature is equally as awe inspiring...Moab. It's a 'secret' place in Utah where nature has spent millions of years etching out one of the most beautiful rock formations I have ever seen. I wish I could post some of the pictures because words don't do it justice. Deann, her husband, Don, their young son, Deanpaul and I, camped out...my first time since 1969. We had a great evening sitting around a camp fire, roasting hotdogs and marshmellows, telling stories and laughing...askickers laugh a lot!. Deanpaul and I got up at 4:30am to watch, and photograph, the sunrise over the Canyons and through some arches. Later that day we hiked through to "Fiery Furnace", a natural labyrinth of sandstone towers, arches and beauty beyond imagination. Deanpaul was our guide and without him, Deann and I would still be looking for the way out:) It was less than a mile...I still think Deanpaul is funning with me... it seemed like 5!! When we finally got back to the cars, both Deann and I were beat! But it was well worth the effort and I'd do it again anytime!
