If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

My sister-in-law told me today, of her purchase via ebay. The item she purchased is valued at more than she paid. She said it was kinda fun bidding and waiting. I'm a HUGE fan of acutions, so tonight I checked out Ebay. I've been scanning through various items of interest, and made my first bid 1 minute before the bidding closed. I got it for $1.99. It's a 1940's print entitled "Where Love Abides" I didn't read the description, I just quickly looked at the photo. Within a couple of minutes, I got an email saying Contratulations! You have thw winning bid! When I went back to read description, it said the print had a tear and was creased. Oh well....live and learn....but for $1.99....whaddya want...a Piccasso? (sp) I've since made bids on 4 other items...and am watching the clock waiting for the bidding to close. Sombody stop me!!! I can't believe the prices some of these things are going for! Guess beauty IS in the eye of the beholder! Man! There are some UGGGLLLYY lamps out there! Chaaaaaaaaaa ching! Steph

Hey Steph,
If you see a good price on a set of shelves for the basement, bid on them. You are going to need some space somewhere to hold all the stuff you buy at eBay in the next few months.
From what I've heard from a friend in Vancouver, eBay is great entertainment and it gives you a continual source of presents for birthdays and Xmas.
I've never tried it. When you buy something, how much do you have to pay for shipping? Does one have to pay by credit card or? I think twice about using my credit cards in Vancouver now. Too many cases of double swiping going on.
Happy shopping! George

Hi George, I amnow the proud owner of 3 ebay items. The first, is the print I spoke of above(S&H is $2.00), the second is a brand new lamp with a leopard print shade , $13.95 plus 7.00 S&H...US funds) Looks fabulous in the picture. (and for the record, I don't think this one is ugly, although many might! ) The third is a painting called :Mind vs Matter. I found it under the "Wierd Items" category with only 2 mins left on bidding. I got it for $1.25. Don't know what the S&H is yet. The artist donated it to a charity auction, where the ebay seller won it,,,and has been hanging on his way ever since. It's.......um.........interesting! hehe IF you want to view the items to get an idea of my funky tastes, they are still on there with photos. Actually, I can email you them. You can bookmark items you'd like to keep a watch on, as well as items you've bid on to see if you are still the top bidder. Kinda kewl! Ebay.ca Check it out.......if you dare!! Cheers, Steph

I know what you mean. I'm a bit of a fan of ebay as well. It's amazing what people do have to sell. I've only won one auction and that was only for a small amount as I thought I would start small & work my way up. - Didn't want to be stung on my first attempt. So far So good. OK, I'll look but don't tell Dorrit.
Ray and I could end up sleeping in our basements by the end of the week.

You seem to have too much time on your hands Steph. Lol.
I use Amazon quite a lot to buy things and e-bookers for air tickets at least twice a month. It does become quite addictive, but its so much easier that going out to the travel agents. I will take a look at Ebay now, but I will blame you if I buy something I dont need. hehe

What *I* like about eBay is that I can find stuff I would never be able to find around here in Nowhere Boonies, Pennsylvania. I'm into Japanese animation (anime) and I like finding posters and stuff on there that you can only find in places like Philadelphia at the closest. Also I bought a hard-to-find video game I've been wanting for a while....my next step is to find some Legacy of Kain (which is a series of Playstation video games) action figures I also know I won't be able to ever find around here.
