Hi everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone else ever experiences sharp, peircing pain in the back of their legs right below the butt. I get them occassionally and they are so painful it causes me to scream (literally).

Yep, perfect description. I'm not sure if it is referred pain from SI's/hips or from my FMS. Sometimes it's on the left, sometimes on the right, and sometimes both at the same time. Heat helps me. Hugs, Cindy  Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Yep, I get the 'hamstring' thing going daily  Cant bear it!! Really burns. Also lots of pain down the leg, especially in the calve. Sciatica springs to mind.... Different parts of the body hurt in relation to the spine. Mine 'appears' to be coming from the SI, and L1,2,3,4.........apparantly.....

Most of my pain is in my sacrum, pelvis, hips and yes, ham strings.
My doctor says that it is because of impinged nerves that my legs hurt. And "referred" pain. Small consulation when I can't walk. Know what I mean????
