If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Dear AlexS:
Steak and eggs, cheese, other meats (best are fish and chicken), bitter melon, Ortegas, raisins, tofu, melons, peaches, applesauce, almonds have little or no starch and make reasonable breakfast foods. Citrus fruits and juices should be avoided if in flare, but can probably be eaten at other times with impunity. Will try and post some recipes soon.
Best Regards, John

Hi John Thanks and I'll try them. I saw in IBS site that banana is a no-no food. I'll try to deal with the translation thing, 'cause there are two or more names for the same food. Thanks []'s AlexS

Hi Alex
How about a good old English Fry-up (without the frying if preferred) - bacon, mushrooms, eggs and cooked tomato
Oh and there was a recipe on the old forum which we haven't tried yet for a bread substitute (somebody said it tasted like croissants) which might be nice
Justine
PS What's an ortega?
Take care Justine

Hi Alex & Justine
My preferred breakfast option is fresh juice - carrot, celery, beetroot and apple being my usual mix. (Juicers are pretty popular here in Australia - I don't know how widely they are used/available elsewhere.) I can't tell you how good I feel when I start the day with something as healthy as that, and I dont feel hungry again for hours afterwards.
On a cold morning a couple of boiled eggs, or some quick stewed apple in the microwave is good. Yogurt over fruit (fresh or from a tin) is also a favourite, or if I'm in a rush an apple followed by a small yogurt is good (and can be consumed at the computer at work on a busy day!).
If I'm away from home I usually go for the big English cooked breakfast or an omelette, followed by fruit and yogurt. Particularly as lunch can be difficult, so a big breakfast with just a few bits of fruit for lunch and snacks will keep me going until dinner.
Regards Elaine

'Then you should say what you mean,' the March Hare went on. 'I do,' Alice hastily replied; 'at least - at least I mean what I say - that's the same thing , you know.' 'Not the same thing a bit!' said the Hatter.
