Hi all, I have to make this short because I am using some kind of lame internet connection. My Dad broke 5 ribs after falling down the stairs on an Amtrack train. My Grandpa suffered a massive heart-attack and is going to have Angiio-plasty at noon tomorrow. They might have to do a bypass but do not know until they see what happens during the angio-plasty. He had the agio about 10 years ago and almost died. During the proceedure they nicked a vein or artery and he lost a lot of blood. Thank you for all the prayers an positive thoughts. Prayers and positive thoughts coming your way. I think bypass has improved since the last time your grandfather had it done, there's a procedure (don't know if your grandfather is a candidate) that is a lot less invasive where they don't even have to crack the chest, I think it depends on how many arteries are involved, fuzzy on the details as usual. Hi Lisa, I lost my server for a few days and had to use a lame way of connecting also. Finally got back on yesterday. Sorry to hear about the health problems going on with your family. Oh no!! What a turn of events, I hope the ribs heal and surgery is not needed after the angio-- hang in there, your family is in my thoughts!!
