I can totally understand the "oh, it's not so bad" part; My anethesiologist (Doctor # 10!) said I was "too young" to be in as much pain as I was. (And as Cheryl says, if I were any older they'll say "DUH! Everyone gets arthritis at your age!" )

I told him that the pain at the base of my skull was like someone holding a lighter under my skull when it gets to be it's very worst. A surprised (and I sensed geuinely concerned, too) "Really?" was his response.

I think if I informed my docs about how many lovely, wonderful ladies are here on KickAS, what they have to go through (including you!) and how I get a dozen "Me too"'s with every post, maybe they'd get it!!! Then, maybe not too
