Johnny....

It burns my AS* that you had to even think that you had to apologise for this thread. As others have said before, this was only a light-hearted 'chat' between a group of friends. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having the odd drink... and so what if now and again we let our hair down and get "blasted".....I think we are all adults here... we know the dangers of alcohol...

Having AS means that we constantly have to live by a different set of rules to the "normal" folk out there. The one thing we know more than anybody is to listen to our bodies. If we consume alcohol and we feel the worse for it... we don't do it again. If we can have the odd drink and still feel OK... then what the heck is wrong with that! Last weekend I was lucky enough to spend an evening with a group of good friends....... we had a few drinks....... and Johnny..... I raised a glass to you!!!!!

Personally.... I have a problem with people who go overboard with labels...... how does a person who has an occasional drink become an alcoholic? If this were the case... this world would be teeming with them!

You had better continue to post..... we all enjoy reading what you have to say, and were actually enjoying a light hearted conversation on something other than our AS.........

I had better be talking to you soon!

Maxine
