My deepest sympathies Johnny,

As you know I had the joy of meeting your mom. She was a most wonderful spark of life, and y'know thinking back to Ottawa, in every conversation I saw her having there were permanent smiles on every participating face.

I didn't know her well of course, but it seemed to me that she gave more to life than she took away.

Hang in there, and see you when you return.
