The one tradition that we have always had was taking a picture of the family sitting at the table with all the food in front of us.
My Dad has done this for years and I think it goes back to when he was born and then lived in Lithuania during WWII. When things got crazy the family went to Germany where they were put in displaced persons camps. They had no food and had to eat out of the trash regularly. They finally were able to escape on a ship and come to the U.S. so now, to this day, he loves to take a picture of all the family at the table with all the glorious food!
It is funny to look back at the old pictures and see how we have changed and to see what we were eating at the time and also to see any new additions to the family!
Gobble, gobble!
