Thanks for the feedback, Megan, very insightful. I am really not sure that I have "AS". I wonder though, and although the test is but an indicator, I was really wondering about that too. "Uncertain reaction: lightly crossed with hla b27". Twice!!! The doctor said something about me being a tomato, but not the tomato they were looking for, or something like that. Heck, I don't know, my French is not that good, especially in that office with that guy. It reminds me, in a rambling round-about way, of the time not long ago when they tried to sign me up for life with a drug to control my severe white coat hypertension.
Anyhow, all to say, much appreciated commentary my fellow Canadian whose compatriotic compassion I can feel blowing from across the prairies, even if I am not actually a Canadian, and even if you hail from exotic and far-away Alberta, which probably bears little resemblance to the Canada I know (which is only within a 500 kilometer or so radius of my permanent address.
