Ashley, I would think that since Humira is now Health Canada approved, we could switch to it if we needed to.
As for these meds being covered by healthcare, I'm completely on board with that. However, I rather doubt it will happen until the biologics are a bit more reasonable in price. Can you imagine the kick to publicly funded healthcare if everyone who needed it was covered for $28,000?
Doesn't mean we shouldn't push for it, however.
