I was diagnosed with AS a year ago, have been taking ibuprofen 600mg twice a day for about 14 months now. Over the last few months I have been having pains and cramping in my stomach after eating certain foods, very very painful bloating and gas. This has never happened before, I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted. Sometimes I have nausea after eating certain things, but mostly very painful bloating and gas after eating, but only with certain foods, usually the junk I shouldn't be eating anyway.
Does anyone have experience with ulcers resulting from ibuprofen use? I was afraid this would happen and I really don't see any other explanation for my sudden sensitivity to food.
Please help and give some advice on past experiences!
