Happy belated birthday! It sounds like you had a good one. Nice to hear you are adjusting to your new homeland. Are the medical staff their more understanding than they were in Canada or do you still get the "what is AS?" I find that most doctors I see here don't even know what that is. You must have explained something since they made you a special cake! That was sweet of them. I had to pull a long shift on my birthday this year also. Worked 12 hours and then had to come in early the next day (a Saturday) for inventory! Yuck!
