yep....my former rheumy used to tell me that it was my pain levels shooting up so the nausea would go up and thus loss of appetite.

about 3 yrs ago i flared terribly. it was one of my very first thoracic flare ups and i dropped down to about 110 lbs and looked pretty sickly on my frame.

hard to want to eat when you are in so much pain.
unfortunately this past weekend that nausea hit me. breathin' was so difficult i started having dry heaves. my oldest daughter helped me to bed. propped up some pillows and entertained me the rest of the afternoon. dont like the flare ups like these. they give me the chills...then feverish, then flat out nausea from the pain. this weather changing from the 70's to the 30's in one afternoon is a nightmare on my thoracic and ribs. i'm giving my rheumy a ring in the morning.
