While I totally believe that diet does affect many people's health, to say that it will stop the disease for everyone doesn't add up for me. I still have issues with Carol Sinclair's testimony because it is common knowledge that not all people fuse. How do we know if she'd fuse in the end or not? Her case was to the point she didn't even know she had AS... Plus add to that her bowel problems do correspond to the kleb theory.

I'm sort of bending towards the belief that there are more differences in 'types' of AS ... some are started by kleb, some are started by chemicals, some are started by injury, etc.... Then there's the factor of hla-b27 and the other possible genes... so we may all be experiencing 10 different subsets of AS that will not all respond to the same treatments.

My symptoms started after a pelvic injury. I've never had a case of IBS or colitis or anything like that. I remember reading my first book 12 years ago and it said injury started AS and threw the body into 'healing mode'. Which made sense since that is exactly what I experienced. Now, there are new & different studies. So really... one size does not fit all, in my humble opinion.
