Hi everyone,
First off, thank you all for your wonderful support after my other post. While I wasn't able to respond last night, I did read all of them while I was in the hospital and they definitely lifted my spirits.
I'll fill in the details later, but for now just wanted to let everyone know that I am home much earlier than expected. The internal medicine doctor thought that as long as I could do self-injections of Lovenox (a form of the blood thinner heparin) at home, I didn't need to stay in the hospital hooked to the heparin IV. While of course I am ecstatic to home and getting ready to sleep in my own bed tonight, I do have to say that I was less than impressed with some of the things that happened last night and today and wonder if they did the right thing sending me home this early. I don't feel I'm at risk or anything, but just a few oddities that made me go "hmmmm."
That said, it is VERY nice sitting here in my recliner trying to finish typing this as my jumbo kitty sits by my side, my right arm draped over him even as I type. The cat and my dog were both VERY happy to have me at home, and I was happy to see them.
Thanks again everyone.
Brad
