THANK YOU ALL SOOO MUCH for all of my birthday wishes, I loved each and every one of them. I'm sorry I was trying to answer each one.
A few of you know that I have not been doing well, it is a long story but as usual it has to do with the insurance we had the exact same insurance for 4 years, then 9 months of Cobra and now BCBS again but with a different employer, what we didn't know was when you go on Cobra if you have Medicare, the medicare is suppose to be MY primary insurance, so think of me and ALL the Dr. visits and treatments I do, I have like 5 Drs. blood work, $5000 Remi treatments that NOW have to all be refiled and then filed again and because of this I have nt had a Remi treatment since March and it has caught up with me. I have been so sad, I was just getting back up to where I needed to be...feeling about 60%, getting up around 9 in the mornings, being able to do more and now it's like it's all back now the pain, the insomnia, when I can sleep I sleep till 1 or 2 in the afternoon, I am really having issues with my right leg, neck and jaw...sorry don't mean to complain I know so many of you have it so much worse...especially those of you that work, I just don't see how you do it...
We were able to secure a 24ft round above ground pool (thanks to friends) all we had to do was remove it and put it back up at our house..which is not small feat, luckily we have alot of loving good friends that have helped up and my Dad has been priceless it is now to the point that as soon as we get sand for the filter, buy a piece of tubing...think that is it but then we can start filling it up. Some of my friends on here know what this means to me and to Bill (my husband) my Dr. has been hooting at me for 2 years to go to the hospital pool or the Y now Bill, the kids and I will have a pool of our own surrounded by a privacy fence to enjoy. This has been a dream of mine for a long time.
Having used steroids for so long I have weight that I need to work on, I have lost 25lbs since starting Remi but could lose another 25 at least and so could Bill so we are hoping for our joints and excersize for the kids it will be all we have hoped it would be.
Does anyone here have any experience with jaw inflammation? I have had shots in my jaw but at this point with a 5000 deductible I am looking for ways to get some relief. You would think keeping my mouth shut..lol not eating would help but it does not and I can not sleep on my right side it hurts my jaw too much. I am pumped up on all the pain meds I dare at a time, I have tried hot and cold packs...can anyone think of anything else...I was joking with my Dad but I was like this just ALMOST ranks up there with the SI pain, was thinking about crushing up a steroid and just injecting it in my jaw myself!!!! JK! but THAT is how bad it hurts. Anywho if anyone has ANY ideas I am open to them, it feels like a cross between being punched in the jaw, strep and a migraine all rolled into one.
I did have a wonderful birthday and you all just made my day! It meant the world to me considering I am now having "the" birthdays you would just soon not have..lol Now I do have to confess for some reason Alan has chosen to ignore my birthday this year...and I am devastated...that is all I can say about this at the moment without being too emotional...
I think about you all every day and I try to answer all I can, forgive me if I dont keep up or am not as cheery until I can get this jaw thing fixed...remember any ideas I am SOOOO open..lol
