Oh, Lon, you get into so many situations.... A needle the size of an exhaust pipe.....
Reminds me of dentist visits....a good dentist never reveals the needle (it's usually a big honker!), but brings it up outside your peripheral vision and slips it into place. And I usually don't have glasses on at that point. But the orthopedic doc didn't keep the needle out of sight when I had my last hip bursa shot....big a$$ needle....so I feel your pain.
