Yep, sounds like plantar fasciitis to me. Mine comes and goes. It's worse during flares. I have taken to wearing Chaco sandals and Merrell ortholite shoes with vibram heels. Of course, I could pay 1/2 a car payment every time I buy a new pair, but both brands last a long time and make my feet feel better. I hope you can get some relief from your heel pain. It is a real irritant. Sorry you're having to deal with it.
