Megan if u r worried about this u can have yr fluoride level checked. The big worries for getting too much is from well water with high fluoride levels and drinking certain teas . City treated drinking water could add to the problem but is probably to low to cause it alone. Here is a case study from pub med http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/498254
