On occasion i have experienced a rather unpleasant but short lived episode were i have been briefly debilitated by either sneezing or coughing.
This morning,not long after rising , when i was pretty stiff, i suddenly coughed. What followed nearly made me pass out it was so bad,honestly, for a moment i genuinely thought i was having some kind of massive heart attack!!!!
I coughed, and felt a sudden explosion of pain from my neck right down my shoulders, arms, finger tips, chest ,back.....my complete upper torso ...... It was like a jolt, a bang of electric pain which seemed to take hold of me and lasted for almost a full minute before it subsided..... The worst pain I've ever felt. ( and trust me, I've felt some real or rumble pain !)
I felt close to passing out, had to lie down again ...... Would not like to experience it Gain if it can be avoided !
I don't know what it was, why it happened but i do know the cough triggered it .
Does any one else ever get this ?
Ive had it before when I've sneezed but never quite this bad.
I had wondered if it could be related to some kind of squashed nerve in my neck ? As i have suspected blurred watery vision episodes which always come on when my neck is bad to be a sign that some thing is getting squashed ?
Will talk to rheumatologist and GP at next visit.... But would be keen to hear if anyone else has experienced this .
( I've also posted this on the nass forum as to be fair, i want some answers or shared experiences on this one, so, sorry if your having de'ja,vu and are thinking you've read this somewhere else before ????

)
Thanks guys.....
