Before I was diagnosed or even had a clue what might be going on with me (military doctors-nuff said) I went to the chiro. It was the only thing that helped with the pain and my standing upright. He was very gentle and no major twisting and cracking.
However, I cannot go now and no chiros in town will see me (I've asked) they all refer me to massage instead.

I have had no real help from physios but I do an arthritis aquatics class 3 times a week. And I swim a few laps to warm up. I cannot kick when I'm swimming freestyle because it raises my back up to much and hurts. So just my arms and shoulders. So on the way back I float on my back and just kick. That way I get my whole body warmed up.
