Lon....my old AS kicking friend...I have not been around and then I log in cause I'm facing pain and issues and want info from my friends...and I read your post...."small whispers, like a leaf scraping across the drive on a cold winter day".....anticipation of pain...have felt it...and I agree again with thoughts of others and myself that you are not just a great storyteller, but a poet as well. That line jumped out at me and reminds me of a line from The Hobbit, which has described my state of being, " I feel thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread"....dude, you never cease to inspire me, your hunting analogies are great, and " good things in life can slide from our grip like ice in water" is priceless...if you coined that term or not, you rock my friend....thanks for the inspiration....glad I checked in here tonight!!
