Great idea - and what a wealth of information. Well, even know some of the places where you folks live and have lived in some of the countries where you folks live! Know India very well - three years in Mombai, and four years in New Delhi. 'Know' a bit of Oz, lived there for a year. Know Greece;lived there as well for a while. Know Bruxelles and Paris - lived in Bxls for seven years and Paris for two years.
Visited other places: Kelona in Canada (good friends there). And one of my favourite places to visit for the horse riding: Birmingham, Alabama, USA. My wonderful friends and the ATR (Alabama Trail riders). That has to be the all-time best - funtastic. Know other places in the US but out on the trail with the ATR just has to beat the band!
Love South Africa - God's country. Amazing countryside, just wish I had had the chance to go horse riding there, but never did that.
You might say that I have travelled some...rolling stone ya know

Anyways, here's links to my home 'community' - comprises some eitht houses, three farms and one equestrian centre. You might say 'small'

Nearest loaf of bread is a 12 mile round trip. From the back of the house I can see the coastal road lights of Theddlethorpe (sea side). Along the way is open countryside, very lovely. We lead a peaceful life here: me and my cat, dog, various guinea pigs (and sometime rabbits), horse and, me! I enjoy my garden, listening to music and reading and linking up on the internet with friends and family (many abroad: Oz, Canada, the USA, Greece, Switzerland, France - not too many here in the UK!!)
Enjoy the links and have a nice day y'all, ya'll:-
Selection of photos from the hamlet where I live (hope it all comes through OK)

For the horsey folks amongst y'all, here's some places for horse riding - plus about 80 miles of bridleways...that is IF they are ridable! Too many ruined by off-roaders and dirt track riders. Makes for equine injury time and vet bills

Maddening - the bridleways are pretty much ruined out now. Sigh.
