Brings back memories, when I was preggers with my son there was no such thing as amnio or ultrasound, so in order to "find out" the sex of the baby we resorted to needle voodoo, anyone remember threading a needle and having someone hold it over your belly? (Not you, guys, unless there's something you're not telling us. If the needle made a circle motion it was a boy, if it went back and forth it was a girl. Or was it the other way around???? We're talking a long time ago here

As others have mentioned, what is the male equivalent of a ladybuggie???? Congratulations! The girls are getting a baby brother!!!!

Italian names? Leonardo? Giovanni? This is going to be tough.

Hi Cheryl

I remember that trick except we used my wedding ring on a necklace, but I heard it was the other way around. Though I think your theory is right as the ring trick was wrong for me, both times.

Ange, I'm so happy for you and the family. A boy after two girls will be a completely different experience, I imagine. Friends of mine had a boy and, well, let's just say that fountains can occur while changing diapers.

Hugs,

Kat

I believe the male equivelant would be a he-bug?? LOL
We've used the wedding ring with red thread. Has always worked for me. Did it on many friends and family. Side to side is boy...round is girl. I did it a few months ago and it looked side to side..but Art was CONVINCED it was a circle. It wasnt a very convincing circle to me but I went with the moment..and BOY was he wrong.

Nice to know despite the advances in medical science the old Wife's Tale method still works My first child, a girl, was adopted, that one was an easy call

YAAAAAAAAAAAA!
I am so happy for ya! I just found out that my niece is having a boy too and she is soo excited.
Lori said there is something about men and their sons, but I am sure, like me, she will also be one to say that there is nothing like a mother and son!!!

Thanks Lisa..
I know you and your son have a special relationship..that is great.

Art was teasing me that our little boy is going to be clung to me like Saran Wrap...since baby so far kicks for me...but when everyone else touches ..he stops. LOL
