Very good words and I couldn't agree more. I just do have to say that one of the lines from Steel Magnolias was " If you haven't got something nice to say about someone, then come sit by me." Very funny in a movie but really...in real life? I don't think so. Also if you don't want the truth about something just don't ask because really that does give someone the freedom to say anything they want doesn't it? Especially true in a drama club. I only ask people's opinion when I really want the truth and I only ask certain people that know how to word things very carefully so as not to kill me off entirely. Not a bad way to live actually. And if someone offers an opinion without being asked for one then say..."I don't recall asking for your opinion". I have never done that since I am too chicken to be that harsh ( although people are quite free to hurt my feelings as much as they would like) but it is a nice thought don't ya think?

That's why the "credo" from Bambi works so well. It really applies for all occasions and is the only way to live and be able to live with yourself. Thanks for that Pam...and your boys are so handsome!!! No wonder you have them in a heart! See, I had something true and nice to say so I said it! Never let it be said I am untrainable!

Saw your post andI thought I'd stop by and say hello, as I've been MIA for a while. The baby is due 6/17 and it'll be a boy...Nolan is the name (after the great baseball player Nolan Ryan~ my hubby's idea). Noah pats my tummy and says "Baby", he is now 2 and a HANDFUL!!!! The term Mini Monster comes to mind, but I know he is just asserting his new found freedom of choice (listen to Mommy or do what I WANT). Anyhoo, will keep ya posted, hope you and your boys are well, take care til next time.

I haven't seen that movie in a long long time. I like that line lol.

My mother calls me "brutally honest" When I got married, she told my husband. "She'll never lie to you....... she may hurt your feelings with the truth once in awhile,,,, but she won't lie to you"

So there are many many times I have to make myself bite my tongue.

And thankyou very much for the compliment on my boys. They are my heart. I have no idea what I would do without them.

I am in Eastern Washington state... so I hope you are also getting this beautiful weather that we have had. BRING ON THE SUNSHINE!!!!
