If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Friends, I am becoming more allergic to wheat as I get older. Which helps me avoid starch. But with my lifestyle, of meeting people for lunch and eating with friends, I have to be quiet blunt to avoid wheat and starch if I am a guest. Yes, I can eat vegys, but too much fruit, salads and protein of any kind, requires that I stay close to the facilities. An apple can give me cramps so quick that it is scary. Any advise or suggestions would be helpful. I should say that this allergy also means that I can bloat so quick that I am forced to unbuckle by belt. It is not fun, it is embarrassing but as you know life goes on. Lon

Dear Lon: Well, the bloating is almost certainly caused by a bacterial proliferation and usually of the wrong variety (dysbiosis). There are many different types of colon cleansing routines, especially the Cayce apple diet; it is most likely the food combination that causes problems with apples. Once your intestinal flora has adjusted to your eating habits, you should not have any trouble, but probably just need to 'clean the slate' first. Also, if you have celiac/sprue, there is no doubt a wheat connection and you will do great on the NSD with the happy finding, after healing the tract, that you do not react to many of the starch sources that the rest of us do; just the wheat-based ones. I always eat a meal before going to dinner with friends--nobody can ever get this diet right, heck, we hardly can ourselves... . Keep on keepin' on brother Lon! John

That is a good idea to eat before going out to eat. That way if well intentioned friends cook something that isn't starch free you will not be tempted to eat it. And you are right it is hard to always get it right as hard as you might try.

Brother John, When I first enter a fast, I get the queezy feeling that becomes nausia. If I go one day I seem to feel some better. Is that normal? You point of eating before you go out to eat is something I had noticed seems to help. I think I am due for a nother long visit with you over a salad a lots of fresh water.
If there is ever something I can do for you, you would probably be better off talking to almost anyone but me...
