Hi everyone!

I haven't had time to get here much lately. So many new members--welcome to all! I've been here at KA for nearly three years. When I first registered, I was just Connie L because there was already a Connie registered. I have very mild AS (yes, I thank my lucky stars every day!) and I commented one time that I should change my user name to HalfASkicker. So when we moved to the new site and had to re-register...well, I just couldn't resist!

The shoe fits...for some reason this disease made it's initial attack on my feet 20 yrs ago and hasn't let up on them since. In so much pain, it was easy to just go outside and stand barefoot in the snow to numb them. Then one winter night I couldn't take the pain anymore and was at the end of my rope and considering my options. Whilst standing barefoot in the snow, trying to drown the pain with some gluten-free beer, a spaceship appeared and out came some little green men . That was the last thing I remember until waking up in the snow, and noticing I now had white fur and big paws I've since been living in the woods with numb feet year-round and a nice kick to my step which has enabled me to stay one step ahead of the AS that started this whole thing.

Pete,
I too have seen a few EMT come and go. It is something that this percentage of firefighters and health care pesonnel, have this crap.

Thanks for the pic. Nothing prettier than a woman in bunkers...
Who needs Fredrick's of Hollywood, when you have Globe Turn-Outs..

So in California, you guys take pictures of yourself at fires?? I guess it must be that Hollywood thing. Here's just a little thing we do back east, we have these huge red trucks (some depts even have slime lime ones) with lights and sirens on them, and lots of water...when we get to a fire, we put the wet stuff on the hot stuff, seems to work pretty well.

Hi Chris!

Thanks for asking. The shows are doing great. Have one this coming weekend in Grand Rapids. Have gotten a few commissions lately to work on pets. Been keeping pretty busy!! Hope all is well down your way!!

I have to agree with Wolverinefan....U of M is superb. There med center saved my life a few years back and although I am a die hard Florida State fan, Ann Arbor is in my blood.

Too true Chris, too true. I get the female firefighters calendar every year. It's actual firefighters from South Florida. A large portion of the price of the calendar goes to the burn center down there.
