Hi Jamie,
Welcome to KA. Glad your aunt pointed you in the right direction. You will be so happy that you joined the group. Lots of information, advice and support. Check out all the forums when you have time. Happy to meet you and I look forward to getting to know you better. I have not yet found anything that takes away all the pain either but I am determined that one day I will. You are right, when it hurts it hurts. Not an easy thing to explain unless you have experienced it. BTW- what you wrote was great. I know it is hard when you first start posting but after awhile you will get the hang of it and it will get easier. Keep posting and asking questions and you will find there is always someone who has an answer to your questions. Take care.

Hi Jamie,
Just wanted to welcome you to KickAS.
I'm sorry you've been dx'd with this disease at such a young age. I've been symptomatic since my early twenties, but wasn't dx'd until 30 years later. On the bright side though, your young enough to fight off this disease before to much damage has been done.

I'm fairly new too. this site really does kick AS - it always makes me feel better just reading through the postings and info. If you find out the way to the woman only forum let me know as i'd like to check that out too! I was diagnosed just over a year ago and have nearly come to terms with it - nearly! Good luck to you.
