First of 3 boys.Only one with AS.Middle brother has alot of other problems.( bad hearing, heart problems and PTSD)Little brother 4 years younger has diabetes.

I'm the first of three girls and a boy. Younger sis has ulcerative colitis, brother has chronic back pain.

First born here... and the only one with dx of spondy. Brother has intestinal problems and burning back pain like my mom but not as severe. Grandma has severe arthritis. Buggy

I am #4 out of 10.5 girls 5 boys younger sis and brother and father have as also.

i am fourth born but not the last. I have 2 younger. But I am the first with AS although my younger sister is hlab27 positive( won't go for anymore tests even though she shows symptoms. Says what she doesn't know won't hurt her )and my younger brother has AS.
The older 3 have escaped the misery
But my father is second born in his family and is the only one with AS

I am second of three boys. The troubled or troublesome middle child with all the text book woes, of course I fake them to hide mymuch more deep seated issues. My Mom also AS sufferer is eldest of three sisters FWIW.   stevec-they also serve who stand and wait

I say that I have two only children.  Eric is the youngest of 2 boys, but there is 9 years difference in their ages. Makes me wonder how the mothers of mulitable small children can do it. Especially if they have AS on top of it. My hat is off to all you Mums.....I always said that Eric was my triplets all rolled into one body! Lori
