If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hey Cristina, Good to ssee you're back in businees. That is the question business. First and foremost the thing about kickAS that kept me when they're were so few good folks hereback then was the spirit of the folks posting. Just because there was good info and lots of ideas was useful but would have never held my limited attention span. THe folks who started this place captured something that I didn't find at the one or two other AS websites I had seen previously. SO my favorites. The day my girls were born I was exhausted after being up all night and was amazed to see how many huge warm Congratulatory messages were there within hours of my sharing the good news. A post by me that Gary (Wudcrvr) turned into a slogan "Crooked Lawyer- Steve Crowe" kept me laughing and showed me the good humor of the folks here. THe Great Diaper Drop since I was too obtuse to realize the post was about me and actullaly chimed in and because I had scores of diapers from around the world. MAinly though it was meeting the folks I have met so far or chatting with folks even if it was just a brief Hello over the phone. Calling someone a Cristina come lately for trying to ask one of your questions. Most recently a PM for Loz where he closed with a quote from none other than me. He actually picked something I had posted here that is perhaps the notion I've always used to survive. Seems like people here just tune in better than others. Great question as always. DOn't wander off for too llng.     stevec-they also serve who stand and wait

I've hesitated about answering this one, because I know I'm gonna start crying while I'm typing. But I really think a trip down memory lane might be helpful for me right now, so here goes. There are so many memories that it is difficult to select only a few. So this is very spontaneous, train of thought. From the board, some of the things I most remember are, in no particular order: Trying to write the "My KickAS Friends" poem and make it fit to all my friends' personalities and quirks and, of course, trying to make everything rhyme; Working on the KickAS map with my buddy Loz. I know he thought I never was going to get all the little dots added; The early arguments I had with Evelyn, and then realizing that she 'definitely does know what she is talking about' so I'd better just shut up; The blonde jokes; The redneck jokes; The birthday wishes; and of course Christina's questions. The list is so long that I could never do it justice. But my best memories of all are definitely from the parties: When I walked through that casino in Tunica and saw the 'jackas_' on the back of Gary's shirt... and then tried to catch up with him... man the little dude was a fast walker... I can only imagine what he is like in his chair, because he didn't bring it with him.; When Amy was woo-hoo-ing at the top of her lungs in the casino and I thought someone had hit a major jackpot. No, it was just Amy having fun. And that is exactly what every party since then has been, great fun; That night in Georgia when I first met Michelle, Lori, and Donna. I'll never forget the picture of Mother making the face for the camera. Thanks Lori for sending it to me!; The fun Mother and I had in Atlantic City, even the chasing of our resident Jeff Gordan on the turnpike, that would of course be Mike, and even getting pulled over by the Ocean City policeman, yep, I remember it all; The triplets and their wonderful parents, I still remember the golf tip you gave me Steve. I'll let you know how it helps, if I ever play again. The quiet talk between Mark, Mother and Myself after everyone else had gone to bed; The ride on the incline in Chattanooga and Donna's ghost stories; Trying to follow John's directions in Ottawa (well some things weren't that much fun, just kidding John); That Saturday morning when Loz walks in and shakes my hand (now talk about dueling accents, that was one for the books); When the most beautiful blonde I've ever seen in my entire life walks into breakfast and comes right over and kisses me on the cheek, yep, I'm still blushing, Jeanna; When I meet John and I learn what the true meaning of inspiration is, because he is the definition of the word; When I'm saying goodbye to everyone in Ottawa, and tears are falling and I'm trying not to cry; When I'm driving all over New England and the only thing mother and I are talking about are all the wonderful friends KickAS has given us. There are so many more memories that there is not enough room to mention them here, but do know that they will forever remain right here, in my heart! Johnny

Ha! We used to have some fun on good old MSN chat eh? Lisa was loopy, you were lids, and I cant for the life of me remember what mine was.....hmmmm, I know that it started with a L, cause we all wanted them to be the same letter..... The last time Lisa was on I mentioned that to her. Couldnt remember the last "L" word then either... How is she, by the way....Do you know? I think of her often. Hugs Lori

Hey Cristina, Long time no see. Well there are so many I can think of. The LV party. with the doc and riding in the wheelchair. Then there are the other parties., and meeting all of the fellow KAers. Johnny, Donna, John, Milt, and all of the others So many to list but you know who you all are. But one thing sticks out in my mind, It's how me and Michelle became real good friends. It was a day before my B-day and she posted it on the wrong day, every since then we have become very good friends. Thank Michelle for always being there for me. See Ya, Mark

Hey Mark. Good choice. You couldn't find better friends than Milt and Michelle. I omitted from my reply how much it meant to me this time last year when they volunteered and came up from their home to help me out for the weekend of my recovery from my last hip surgery. It meant exciting things like helping her lovlinees, Diane, cleanig out my garage n snowy weather. Taking out trash and changing diapers. I jsut didn't psot it here because I knowe how these types of compliments go straight to Milt's head.      stevec-they also serve who stand and wait
