That's just what I was thinking Claudia - get back to nature

Ever seen an elephant get a back scratch Lon? Do like they do...

1) Find tree
2) Remove shirt (usually unneccessary for elephants)
3) Back up to tree
4) Make like the Santa animation below :)

No simily intended, only the analogy.

Hi Lon,
I have an idea for you and it works great.
I was dealing with terrible itches so I asked my husband to pick me up a back scratcher on his way home.
When he came home he said he couldn't find a back scratcher, so he picked up something that he thought would work just as well and he handed me a toilet brush HA HA
It worked great! The handle was long and bent so it reached perfectly and the bristles were perfect for getting rid of those itches. Some would say it was a little too harsh and sharp, but not for me.
A few months later a friend of mine picked me up a real back scratcher, but it didn't work half as good as the toilet brush. The finger nails on the hand weren't sharp enough, so I still use my toilet brush and wouldn't trade it for anything.
This is my suggestion...just don't use the one that's already in your bathroom. YUCK!
Hugs,
Lisa

Smed,
Yes, I am in Grizz country, as well as Mountain Lion. In fact our friend's neighbor had a big Lion in her chicken house Monday night. No wonder the chickens would not roost! I am such a person of peace, how would I go about aggrevating a big bear? Maybe one of my old sermons would create enough annimosity?

Carol,
Those darn oceans always get in the way of real comfort! Thanks for the offer! Some day maybe!

Jade,
I have seen the bear rubbing like that. It is kind of cute. I will take the bear hug and give one back!
Thanks for the picture. With the Grizz living only two miles away, should I try to wake one from the winter nap?

Although your post was not quite as warm as some concerning this alarming problem, your common sense approach has been such an uplifting experience for me, I think that I must keep this whole thread for posterior. Would there be several settings for a less and a more intense feel?

Chris,
What keen insight! I have wanted to remove some unwanted hair, maybe the hot wax would do just the ticket.
Would you be removing those clothes, or be leaving them on? What about drying my glasses when finished.
Please send results ASAP.

Lozster,
Is there a special kind of tree? Would it behove me to have on some kind of stylin shorts afore I bump into the tree?
Should I be acting like I did not think of it before, or just march right up to the nob and say "Here I am"?
Once again, just plain common sense has proven to be outcome of this posted question.

Lisa,
Dear one, will this brush work in any room in the house? Or do I need to be in the bathroom?
What color would you recommend for a former maucho, verile, gent like myself. Would it be appropriate to hang such a thing from my belt along with mny fanny pack, days supply of food in case i am lost for an hour, my GPI, compus and hatchet?
Happy scratching.

Lon,

We love up here in grizzly country too, Alaska. I would suggest you wake the bear.

Here are two of my "common sense" ideas:

1. To take from someone else - the back scratcher - wooden with a long handle, I have one in my car, by my bed and by the TV. No, I don't carry it into the doctors or such.

2. To have at home - I have a long body sponge with a rope piece at both ends. Take a rope in each hand and pull back and forth, it works great!

Not as funny as you seem to be; glad to be part of a wonderful good of people.

Denise
