Can you eat the bit of food you have tested with iodine?

Hi, Bleen: I sometimes do, to get some extra iodine, but I test using a special edible iodine called Atomidine or Atomic Iodine, available from the Baars. yup, if its not "food grade" or "analytical grade" then it is likely to have additives that are certainly not intended for human consumption. The thing that annoys me is that the manufacturers are not required to list the chemical additives in their product..
