LOL George,

No there is no dispensing fee here. If someone has prescription insurance there is usually a co-pay of $15.00 or so dollars and the insurance pays the rest of the bill.

My prednisone is under $10.00. I know there aren't many though.

Take notice that 20 mg of lipitor is the same price as 80mg. My pharmacists also charges five bucks to take ten pills of tolmetin out of a bottle of 100 so that it fits my 90 allowed by the drug card. And George isn't your name still Breb Assyl ???

Hi,

I had to retire "Breb Assyl".

When Newbies asked me what it meant, I would tell them exactly what it meant but it would get quickly changed to to "Kick ####". by those in charge of naughty words.. I could have changed my explanation of the meaning of Breb Assyl to "it means Kick Donkey" in the Manx Gaelic language but that doesn't quite have the impact I was hoping for.

It doesn't seem to be a problem though for publishers of the Bible where they allow its use in "Samson slew the Phillistines with the jawbone of an ####". Maybe it is time to reactivate Breb Assyl but shorten it to Breb ####. Nooo, maybe not, I don't like talking dirty, even if the Bible does.

Breb ####

There are a lot of drugs that cost less than 10 dollars. Doctors tend not to percribe them because of the Drug Distributers that vist there offices. As far as dispencing costs. I know that it can easly cost a pharmacist in excess of $200,000 dollars to obtain a degree. What does your doctor charge for a 5 minute vist. Your drugs must go through at least three checks to make sure they are correct.
