If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello, I can't help but wonder if they meant Criteria for Classification of Spondyloarthropathy, when he said "Psoriasis" is a criteria for A/S, or a misunderstanding . A/S has a different criteria. Maggie was it a med student you saw first. I was at my appt today and I almost always get a med student first. My student told me " you can see the white cells in your own eyes just by looking at the eye when you have Iritis. I corrected him and said "no it is only possible under a split lamp, and sometimes they are still hard to see".I actually lauged at him and he said he would remember that. You also have the right to refuse a med student, but you will wait a very long time to see just the specialist.

Hi MAggie, I should correct myself many people never have true fusion in the S.I joints but they do have what they call erosions.I have no fusion after 20 years, I can still touch my toes but my last Bone density showed I had 8 % increase in Bone in my spine, but not fused. The X-rays however do show a kind of blurring of the S.I joints, when it should look nice and clean.
Take Care, Janet

Hi Janet No - the rheumy's exact words were " AS diagnosis is impossible without psoriasis " also his exact words were - " onset of AS after age 40yrs is impossible " This onset thing is such crap. How many of you have been diagnosed at whatever age and then realized that you had symptoms waaaaayyy before that ? I wasn't even going to these rheumies for a diagnosis - I just wanted extra help with mainly the hip and lower spine pain, especially in the night. I don't care what this is called - I wanted some more relief - not more grief. The more I think about it, I feel the attitude from the second rheumy was simply due to a comraderie among the rheumy's working in the same practise. Yes I saw the med student first. Maggie

Hi David Maps and diaries are a good idea although I don't believe I will be returning there. Not sure about the sten gun thing but I'm sure some of Kat's attitude would be helpfull. ( Kat - I meant that in a very good way ok ? ) I did mention shoulder pain to him although it is not a big issue with me. Thanks David Maggie
