I am another boring person. The name is Peter and I live in Australia. I couldn't use Oz because Sue got in first. The Aussie bit is important because it still spins me out that many of you are so far away.

When I was little everyone called me "Val" and I hated it. Every time someone said "Val" I chimed in with "-erie" to help them finish saying my WHOLE name, Valerie. It stuck, and now I'm 'Erie to all my family and friends.

I just noticed that you are in Melbourne I also am from Melbourne. I work in Footscray but live in Bundoora. I think we're the only two from Melbourne!!

Hi Cheryl, It has been a long time since we have had a fun question. My username comes from the Batman cartoon. There is a Character named HarleyQuinn who is a good girl turned bad. I tend to think she is just a misunderstood girl.  She is in love with the Joker and calls him "Puddin". I have asked Pookie if I could call him Puddin but he said he had to draw the line somewhere. Hi Rose,
I live in Sunbury You are the first Melbournian other that me that I know has AS. It seems that I have had it forever and in all that time I have never come across anyone else.
As I have gotten older things for me have impoved and generally I have a pain free active life. I came across this site not because I needed any support but I was interested in finding out a little about AS and what it means, why I have got it and what it means for my children.
I hope I find you well, I think you are much younger than me so you may have a few hurdles ahead. I can only suggest that you need to stay positive.
