If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I checked the old forum and found my original reply. This is, apparently, the third time this thread has been started, I wasn't around first time, but here's an editied version of my reply from the second time around: "Hi, I've really enjoyed reading these replies. Basically Loz is my usual nickname, I'm Loz to friends and family, but otherwise I'm Laurence. Here in the UK names that have an 'r' near the beginning are often shortened to a nick name of three letters with 'z' as the third letter. For instance: Barry = Baz Darren = Daz Gary = Gaz Karen = Kaz Laurence = Loz - and that's me. The girls names Lauren and Laurien are also often shortened to Loz. I've been L Z ever since I was too big to be called Lozzie!" Cheers, Loz

Thats the nick name my Dad gave me when I was a little girl. It just stuck and everyone in the family calls me Dodie. I think it has something to do with the dodoe bird. Peace. Rose

Are you sure you and I arnt related. My husband bought a little red sports car and I got 2 tats one one the left breast and one (OUCH) on the top of my left foot. Red roses with feathers and beads (native American fan). What people do after forty. Sorry I know this has nothing to do with user names but could n't resist. Peace . Rose

Hi Peter, Sounds like you got here the same way I did. My AS is mild, but even I get annoyed that all of the literature treats it as no big deal. I guess that's why I keep looking for new information--especially when I'm having more pain than usual, as I was when I found KickAS. I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't know how bad AS could be until I found this site. So, I wasn't looking for a support group either, but now I'm addicted to this place Connie

Yes, Paul, I think you need to tell the story for our members who weren't around at the time. Maybe Loz will help you out... Connie

Hi Lisa Love the new sig.She is a cuttie.Your post had me smiling.Carol started colling me "Puddin" when we were dateing. That was in1968.We married in69. I would call it only a dateing nickname because it was only hers to use.Over the years I picked up at least four other nicknames.I keep them to myself. "Icky" suited me best. Still smiling--Ray

Anyone who has been around here long enough knows that I am a pain in the as_. That also happens to be the exact way AS was when I first had symptoms, as I know it is for so many others. Feeling like it's me who's being mashed!

My username mars is probably because I'm always lost in space......or maybe because my head looks like the far away planet we call mars....or maybe it's because I like mars bars (sorry, I don't like chocolate)..... I think it's probably short for Marcel which is my real name. Take care folks, mars

Oh dear, I apologize. All this time I have been thinking that your user name was chosen because of being a fan of these steamy romance series of novels (Harlequin) that many women read.
Sorry, sorry.
