Just wanted to say that I thought this was a very touching sentiment. And I too hope that Rere doesn't have to visit us as anything other than a family member .... (Let us know how the appointment went? The KA family is a nosey one ...  ) Jeanna

So sweet of you to inquire Jeanna. More blood tests and x-rays ordered. Might be fibro ( oh no I hate hearing that one, always seems like a brush off) but he won't put it in her charts. Doubts she has AS, and who dxed her mother? Time will tell. She's a trooper and has learned to be creative at what life throws her way. Best to you, Klem

 Thanks for the update Kat! Sorry to hear that the diagnosis is still pending, grrrr, sometimes it's hard to deal with the unknown more than the known. I know what you mean about fibro, but at least this doc seems to recognise (1) that she's in pain and ( 2 ) the stigma that surrounds a diagnosis of fibro. As long as someone adequately treats her symptoms it doesn't matter what it's called. Sadly, with things like AS, they'll declare themselves one day like it or not. Kerria sounds like a pretty special young lady. Best to you both. Jeanna

rere, hate to be the mother nag but.....and especially because zz tested positive....get those tests done. If you glean nothing else from this site, please learn from my mistakes and get dxed early so preventive measures can help you in the long run. shaking your tree and loving you,  Klem
