It's funny, science and numbers make my brain hurt. They truly do. Yet in my years of spiritual exploration, I've done some simplistic reading on quantum physics (thank you Carl Sagan for my intro and Fritjof Capra - even if I do have yet to get beyond Chapter two of The Tao of Physics). I find that if humankind is able to get a grasp on the Universe it will be and is through quantum physics. The idea that we are all truly interconnected through sub-atomic particles (gluons). The idea that thoughts are energy (look at the power of prayer/positive thought). Did you know that they can now explain intuition through quantum physics? The idea is that when two photons(?? my brain and science ) get split, it doesn't matter how far from each other they get, whatever one does, the other mirrors it. Somehow, quantum holograms are the result, which is how they explain intuition. Also, they now believe that it is a 'muscle' that we of the 'civilized' world no longer need. However, in the Arctic and desert areas of the world, in areas where there is always danger of some kind and great distances between folk, that muscle is still used and so has not atrophied.
