Yup.. and I had a long conversation with Brian on the telephone. At the time, there were things going on personally.. I will not say (because he asked) when he gave up web master...

Anyone ever talk with Brian since he went through all the AS and personal problems? I have often wondered what happened to him. I was worried about him because the last I heard from him he seemed very depressed.

thats Ausome I wish that I knew of this place when I was first diagnosed with AS. back in 1999, I didnt come in till 2003 or 2004 I cant remember but I am here for good. and I thank everyone here for all the help and support I have gotten over the few short years I have been here.

I must have talked to you in those early days.....did you have a different username back then? I seem to remember you more from the place (can't remember what it was called?) where ppl would email their ??? and others would respond, but it wasn't on the main Message Board.....Would that be right - or am I mixing you up with someone else??

I've often wondered about Brian too - he certainly did sound horribly depressed in his last message to KA (not suprisingly!), so I hope and pray things have improved for him since?


I don't suppose he could ever have dreamt how big his "Baby" would grow, and how many ppl would have been helped by it? It's incredible really, the way it evolved and grew out of all recognition from its' early days. I remember stumbling across his site soon after my dx; just a small group of ppl back then, all with stories sounding oh-so-familiar......Feels like a lifetime ago now.

A Thanks to all responsible for the creation and maintenance of this site. I really believe that without this i would be totally lost and uninformed. It is great to know that we ASers have each other to fight this horrible, frustrating and chronic disease. We gotta stick together and continue to kick some AS.....Thanks Again, Scotty
