Lisa!!! It's so good to hear from you... and seeing a post with your pic beside it just warms my heart , as I'm sure it will do the same for so many others here too.

I have not forgotten about your book in progress, and someday hope to purchase/read your great achievement. Wish that your hands were painfree for the process, but confident that you will accomplish what you've set out to, no matter what.

Just really great to see you Lisa.

Hi Lisa!!

Sooo good to see you again!!

I'm afraid I'm a lot like you, I realize, after reading your post at the top, in that I'm not able to sit here long enough to read and reply to the posts regularly like we used to.....(Remember how we used to be here every day, practically, sometimes almost ALL day!! lol)
The last 18 months have been especially hard I have to admit, with knee and spinal surgery, and now all my joints, including my hands and feet, have also decided to come to the party....
So sorry to hear you're having a tough time as well

I still think about you, and all my other friends at KA, every day though. Hopefully, as you said, one day we'll be able to get back here more often,

Good luck with your book, Lisa dear, but don't stress about it. It'll happen when it happens

Take care. Lovely chatting with you again

(((HUGS)))

Hey Mig,
Thanks for being so happy to see me. Happy to see you too, although I have been seeing you here and there, but just couldn't post or reply.
I couldn't pass up this post because of it's title, and hearing from you and some others makes me really happy that I did reply to it.
Believe me...when the book does come out some day, you won't have to purchase it. There are many who won't especially those who participated in it, which you did!.
I would like to find a few more stories, but I guess when my hands are better I'll have to pop in and explain it to some of the newbies and see if they are interested.
I wanted to personalize it more, but many who wrote made it more mechanical if you know what I mean. I may talk to them before ending it all.

Anyway, enough about the book.

Thanks for being the Mig I love and miss!
Hugs to ya,
Lisa
PS
Took me so long to make this post after fixing all the typoes
I reread this one after I was done and it gave me quite a chuckle.
My favorite was "pooping in"

SOOOO Goood to see you too Maggie and your furry friends!
I absolutely love those pictures....don't ever change them, unless of course you get better pics of them, but I doubt that could ever happen.
Hugs,
Lisa
PS
I may be acquiring a new furry friend.
My mom says 3 dogs would be too many, but I told her this one is so small she wouldn't count.

Hiiiiiii SUE,
Yes, I remember those days like they were yesterday.
How silly we sometimes got. I would start LOL and my husband thought I was nuts.
Our situations do sounds alot alike...all the surgeries...YUCK!
I did start some new meds that seems to be helping me out alot in some areas anyway. My chair actually spends some time in the corner nowadays.
But, who knows how long it'll last. We know how those meds are, but right now I am counting my blessings. Wish it helped my hands out more though.
I just have to be careful not to over do it, especially because it gives me an abnormal gait. I head right towards the walls.
My mom asked if I took up drinking,LOL but then we checked the side effects and that was one.
Luckily, so far that's the only side effect I have experienced. My mom says it's plenty because she is usually the one that heads to the walls with me. HA HA
I have to be careful about falling which has only happened twice so far.
Only twice lol don't you love how I say that?
Scared my mom to death while I'm laying there laughing, saying, "I broke my hand" Funny thing is...both times I fell I said the same thing.
I better becareful because one of these days I may fall and really break something and she won't believe me. Knowing me I'd still be laughing and saying "I broke my hand". HA HA

I think of you and many others here everyday also.
And thanks for having faith in me and understanding about the book.
I never break promises I don't keep. WOW! HA HA I just took a 15 minute nap in between "you understanding" and "me keeping promises" LOL
Guess that's a sign to end huh?
Hope you're taking good care of yourself Sue and haven't gotten any snake bites lately. HA HA

Hugs,
Lisa

LOL - Lisa you sound like one of my husband's customers. She has a black Lab and a Jack Russell Terrier. She then got a daschund. She said " well, we didn't have a brown one ".

Maggie
