I just got a call from my best friend. Grandpa passed away this morning. I am feeling a little guilty because I am happy for him. He was in so much pain and he really needed to make it back to his Maker. Nearly 7 years ago he was given only 6 months to live, he beat the odds and lived and additional 6 years. I know he is in a better place. Right now my only concern is for grandma. She is blind and he was her caretaker. Please keep my family in your thoughts in this time of loss.

Michelle,
I want to express my sympathy for you in regard to losing your Grandpa. There is nothing wrong with relief / joy for entering eternity! Elderly people need our love and respect, now more than ever. Keep the faith.

Michelle, I just want to agree with what Lon said. When I go, I want everyone who cares about me to through a party to celebrate my entering into an eternity where I can dance with my daddy again, free from pain, free from worries, free from tears. Death is not an end at all, and it's certainly not something to mourn if it means the person is no longer suffering. All the same, the grief is there for those who will miss him here, and for that I will keep your family in my prayers.

Boy, when it rains at your house, it pours . Like Lon said, keep the Faith. That is the most important thing right now.

Thank you! And yes it when it rains it pours, but I know it will get better soon because behind the rain there is also a beautiful rainbow with plenty of sunshine.
