When I stopped drinking coffee I never found a difference. When I drink coffee now on occassions I do not have flares.
But we are all different.

All the best.

Hello Ken, my friend,

I'll ask when I go in to work at Starbucks, but I'm not certain that I'll get an honest answer from them about that. lol JK, I just couldn't pass that one up. Sorry, I hope that you found out some truer information out from other members. That would be very interesting if that turns out to be the case. Though, I would think that the opposite would be true, (I know that my store manager owuld shoot me for saying this, but here goes) since coffee, and any form of cafine, tends to dehydrate people. o the bestof my knowledge, that tends to worsen pain in most people. I should have read your replies first, however. Perhaps I'm way off.

Take care my friend,

I hope this finds you well,

Daniel

Hello aB, my friend,

You are correct, to be considered decaf, a coffee must have only 2% of the cafine of regular coffee. And, you are correct about mild coffee. I wish that more of my customers knew that. Instead of comming in the next day to complain about the fact that we must have'poured the wrong coffee' into his cup, yesterday, because he couldn't get to sleep.lol

Wow, that must have been an interesting artical in the NYT. Wow, I never would have thought that coffee would have anti-inflamatory properties. Anti-oxident, yes, but not the other.

Wow, I guess I learn something new every day.

Take care my friend,

I hope this finds you well,

Daniel

I wasn't aware the dehydration emphasised symptoms. Maybe that's why a night on the booze leads to an AS hangover as well as a the other kind?

I only allow myself one cup of coffee a day, but it is a big strong cup. Once in a while after a special dinner with friends, I'll have a cup, but not often. I'd drink more of it if it wasn't for the fact that I have to add creamer, and that puts on the weight. During the holidays, I'll sometimes add Baileys or Carolyns, Yumm

A sprinkle of green cardamon on top of the grounds before brewing, a touch of cinnamon, some caramel, chocolate and vanilla with milk. Ahhhh, I'll get that Frappuccino® recipe yet!
